PORTRAIT MASTERY & EXPRESSION
Week 08: Portrait Mastery & Expression (Feb 16 - Feb 22)
Focus: Facial anatomy, stylized vs. realistic portraiture, expressive brushwork.
Challenge: Paint or illustrate the same face with three different emotions (joy, anger, sadness).
Marketing Angle: Post progress shots and invite engagement with: “Which version tells the strongest story?”
Our effort is to further our activities in Paint and Canvas Paint Artwork. This week we’ll be looking at the significance and depth of Facial Features as the human face is one of the most influential and impact organic forms within art. Not disregarding the place of Color and how color affects the mood, this propels us into a phase where how we interpret the world thru color further encourages use thru, within and about people. As this well transitions between our categories of Art, Design and Photography, we’re using the discussions of Paint, Color and the variations and differences of the human face to better illustrate how we’re often affected within our everyday lives and how that communication can influence perspectives and paradigms as well as moods, dispositions and attitudes.
ABSTRACT PAINTING
While there are many forms and styles to painting and creating visual art thru paint to canvas, the one that has always impacted me the most is that of Abstract Painting. Where it leaves one to wonder and interpret, Abstract Painting is for me a form that encourages one to see beyond the surface. It entices and teases the imagination. It allows one to break free from the normal understanding and conventions of things needing to be defined and readily understood as to conform to structure and order. Abstract Painting and Art allows a way for new trains of thoughts and ideas. I’ve chosen this form for our projects as not only to assist in the time constraints but also to lead room and freedom to use those visual concepts and ideas for “Through-Line” Projects. —Liam Ian
LIAM IAN - Ai (@Liam.Ian.LLC_Ai)
While we’re active within our Creative Quarter, we’re still using our resources to develop additional types of Art. Ai Art is category we like to play around in generally in also developing products and assets to implement services. We’re creating prompts to develop Creative Quarter and Category assets; this week will be about Painting and Dynamic Colors. Infusing our Custom Color Palette with messages for this Black History Month and other relative activities, we’re striving to bring more and more to add to what we do and offer.
